This is an old linen piece from a Hilton Tower. I think it depicts the Hilton Tower located in the financial district of San Francisco. It is made of a close weave fabric with an ochre and brown geometric design, the image of the building in the center and “Hilton Tower” in one corner. The size is quite large and I think this was a napkin from the dining room at the Hilton but it may be considered a hand towel. I believe it is from the early 1970’s, shortly after the high rise was finished.
It measures about 22 ¾” by 20 ½” and is in basically good condition. It has been used and appears to be clean and laundered. It does have fold crease lines.
The pictures are not shown at actual size. Please refer to the description for actual measurements.
