This piece was made by the Frankoma Potteries of Oklahoma and was listed as the bone dish for the Lazybones dinnerware pattern which was first introduced in 1953. It would make a nice little candy or nut dish if you don’t need a bone dish! I believe this is their Desert Gold color, a creamy golden yellow glaze with the dark red Sapulpa clay showing through. On the bottom is the Frankoma name and the design number 4S.
It measures about 7” long by about 4 ¼” at the widest part and 1 ¼” high. It is in nice condition with minimal wear. There is a small glaze chip off one end of the raised ridge on the bottom. I feel this was probably done when it was manufactured.
