This old silverplated bowl has no markings but the pattern around the outer edge is very attractive. It has a flowing art nouveau design enhanced with small petaled flowers, a shell like design and a rose like flower. It tapers gradually with a small rim base. This would make a lovely candy or bon-bon dish especially during the holiday season.
It measures about 7 3/8” in diameter at the top edge and about 3 ¼” at the base and it measures about 1 ½” high off the table. Overall it is in fair condition with light wear and dents. There is some base metal showing through on a few spots on the decorative edge and on a section on the back side which I have tried to show in the photos.
