This pretty glass basket is a shallow style with a wide scalloped edge. It has a simple, wheel cut design encircling the low bowl. It looks like a single rose on one side with a spray of stems and leaves wrapping around the majority of the bowl. It has a high, decorative, arched handle giving it a classic shape. This would be a beautiful centerpiece filled with spring flowers or colorful, foil covered chocolate Easter eggs. I believe it was made by Duncan Miller in the 1930’s- 40’s but other companies such as Cambridge and Imperial made similar pieces.
It measures about 8 ½” high to the top of the handle. The flared bowl of the basket measures about 6 ½” wide by 4 ¼” deep at the handles. It is very good condition with minimal wear and no damage. There is minimal scuff wear to the bottom.
