This decorative old glass is from the 1985 Kentucky Derby. The semi-frosted glass is decorated with several of the jockey ridden horses being paraded before the crowd as they are led to gate. It has a listing of all of the winners from 1875 through 1984 with a question mark for the 1985 winner and indicators for Triple Crown winners and Fillies. 1985 was the 111th run for the roses. Across the bottom of the glass is a musical staff which reads; Churchill Downs - Post Parade - My Old Kentucky Home. Near the bottom it reads; Official Harry M Stevens Inc. with a 1985 copyright. The glass is clear at the top and bottom with a frosted section in the middle. The souvenir glass has the Libby logo on the bottom and could have been used to serve the traditional mint julep.
It measures 5 1/4” high and 2 3/4” in diameter at the top tapering slightly to 2 ¼” at the base. It is in very good condition with minimal wear and no chips or cracks.
