This old folder is a coin saver that was original issued by a bank in Greeley, Colorado. The booklet is in the shape of a happy pig wearing a bow tie and the front reads; Take your Piggy Bank to Greeley Industrial Bank. On the inside there are 30 slots in which to insert dimes. Under the slot are little piggy, each with a 10c increment adding up to $3.00. It appears that only the first slot was ever used. Across the top it reads; A Piggy A Day is the Easy Way. On the back advertising for the back and a pitch on saving habits. The folder was made by the Handford Brown Co. of New Jersey and I would assume this is from the 1960’s.
It measures about 5 3/8” high by 3 7/16” wide in when closed and is in very good condition with minimal edge and corner wear, creases and soiling.
The pictures are not shown at actual size. Please refer to the description for actual measurements.
