This old jar once held Dryad Cream Deodorant from the Jergens Company. This was probably a sample of the product since the lid reads; Gift Package - No Charge. Around the edge of the metal lid it reads; New Underarm Deodorant by makers of Jergens Lotions - The Andrew Jergens Co. Cincinnati, Ohio - .65 Oz. The lid screws onto the white, milk glass jar that has a ribbed side. It’s a fun piece for decorating a bathroom. I believe tis is from the late 1950's or early 1960's.
It measures about 2 1/16” in diameter at the top and tapering to 1 7/8” across the bottom and it measures about 1 1/8” high. The empty jar is in fairly good condition with some minor scratch wear to the metal lid. There is no damage to the glass jar.
