This dapper little bunny is all dressed up for Easter with his blue jacket, pink bow tie and little black hat. He has a brown basket filled with oranges, or more likely, orange Easter eggs. He has a funny expression with a slightly down turned mouth and big orange eyes. Who wouldn’t want to follow him down the rabbit hole? He is made of some type painted composition material like was used for some of the early candy containers. There is no hole at the bottom and I don’t think he was ever attached to a candy container box so he is just a fun holiday decoration. One foot is marked; Japan. On the back there is a triangle with DK inside and it is also incised Japan with the a number that looks like 7/46.
He stands about 5” tall to the tip of his laid back ears and is in nice condition with minimal wear. The paint is generally bright and colorful. There is a little soiling and small chips off the paint, primarily on the back and on the hat
