I believe these old nesting mixing bowls are probably Bauer pottery. They are richly colored glazes with a wide band, tapered shape. The smallest bowl is yellow, marked only U.S.A. on the bottom. It measures about 5 3/8” in diameter at the top and 2 ¾” high. It is in good condition with minimal glaze wear and no chips or cracks. It does have some dark crazing in the bottom which is shown in the pictures. Even though these I believe these are Bauer, they are not marked so are not being sold as such.
The next bowl is a pretty robin‘s egg blue, marked U.S.A. 24 on the bottom. It measures about 7” in diameter at the top and 3 5/16” high. It is in good condition with minor scratch wear to the glaze especially around the top inside edge which I have tried to show in the pictures. It also has a little chipping at one of the glaze dimples on the bottom.
The largest bowl is the color of pumpkin pie filling, marked U.S.A. 18 on the bottom. It measures about 8 3/16” in diameter at the top and almost 4” high. It is in nice condition with minimal scratch wear to the glaze but it does have three small chips on the top rim which are shown in the pictures. This has been taken into consideration in the pricing.
Priced and sold as the set of three.
The pictures are not shown at actual size. Please refer to the description for actual measurements.
