This is a nicely detailed, old watch chain. Each of the large links are like slender oval links with a solid bar down the center. The links are separated by three small, oval jump rings. There are no assay marks on any of the links or ends that I am able to find so I assume it is gold filled or rolled gold. On one end is a swivel with a spring clip to snap onto a watch. It appears to be marked H.D.M Co.. The other end has a spring type jump ring where you could put a fob except there is no lever to open the ring.
It measures about 14” in overall length and is in nice condition however one of the large links is missing the bar in the middle. I have pointed this out in the photos. As previously mentioned, the large jump ring on the one end cannot be opened. There appears to be no base metal showing or discoloration except on the two end pieces.
The pictures are not shown at actual size. Please refer to the description for actual measurements.
