This old menu is from the Red Wagon Inn at California’s Disneyland. The menu also served as a placemat as I recall from my visits as a child. This menu was especially for “Young Americans” (children under 12) and each entrée was named for a favorite Disney character. Snow White was the Roast Turkey dinner and Lady and the Tramp was, naturally, the Spaghetti & Meatball. The Chopped Sirloin Patty dinner was the Casey Jr., Monstro was a Halibut dinner and the Pluto was Hot Dog on a Bun. The meals ranged between 95c and $1.25. It’s noted that “Swift’s Quality Meats Served Exclusively”. It has the Walt Disney Productions copyright and it was made by the Lord Menu Company. The opposite side of the menu is red and white with the image of a 2 horse wagon and it reads; Disneyland - Anaheim, California. This old menu is a fun souvenir of Disneyland. It has a date of 1957 written in pencil at the top and I think that is a pretty accurate date. I believe the Red Wagon Inn was only open from 1955 through 1965.
It measures about 7 ½” by 9 ¼” and is in nice condition with some light crease wear and minimal soiling. There is a small tear, about ½”, at the top edge where the date has been written which I have shown in the photos.
