This is a old dresser jar or trinket box is in the form of a young lady wearing a formal gown. The piece is entirely white except for the painted rose and leaf at her bosom and the one on the fan she is holding. She has a simple, unadorned face and her hair is pulled back with curls and a ponytail. The dress is sleeveless and strapless which accentuates her slender arms that are away from her body. She is somewhat like a half doll except for the fact that her full skirt is the bottom half of the dish. The dresser doll is made in two pieces and could have been used on the dressing table for dusting powder or trinkets. On the bottom is the stamped, blue crown and banner mark with Kaldun & Bogle. I believe this is from the 1940’s or 1950’s.
Overall it measures about 5 ¾” tall. The base measures about 4 ¾” by 6” by 1 ¾” without the lid on it. It is in very nice condition with minimal wear and no damage.
