This is a miniature of the Raytheon Hawker 700 airplane. The Hawker 700 with the twin turbo fan engines, apparently a derivative of the Hawker DH-125, was apparently in production from 1976 until 1984. This replica was created by artisans using Philippine mahogany which is painted, detailed and sealed for protection. These are usually custom made to order, often without any registration numbers or identifiers as is the case with this model. According to Factory Direct Models, this is an older example of their current line. The aircraft is mounted on a simple wood stand which adds to the overall character of this piece of art. On the bottom of the base is an original foiled paper label from Mirco West, Inc..
It measures about 12 ¼” nose to tail with a 11 3/8” wingspan. It measures about 7 3/8” high at the tail and about 6 ½” high at the nose. It is in very good, original condition with minimal wear. There are a few very small areas of paint wear.
