This old Ward razor was a transition from straight razor to safety razor and has a patent date of April 28, 1908. The metal handle has a crosshatched texture so as not to slip when wet. The blade has no markings. The spring release mechanism to remove and replace the blade works smoothly. According to the LW book, Safety Razors; A Price Guide, this razor was made in Chicago, Illinois.
It measures about 5 7/8" long and is in very nice original condition. The plating is very good showing minimal wear.
