This charming little ring is made of 14k gold with a faceted aquamarine. The stone is round and set with four prongs. The band has some small ridges across the top and open work on the sides. This was probably used as a wedding or engagement ring. It appears that it was worn close to another ring or even attached to another ring as one side is worn flat. The inside of the band is marked 10k.
It measures just shy of a size 7 according to my ring mandrel. The stone measures a bit more than 3/16" in diameter or about 5 3/4 mm. The ring is in nice but worn condition. Aside from the one side of the band being worn flat, the stone is worn and the facets on the top of the stone are scuffed and lightly frosted. All that being said, it still is a sweet old ring that shows well and still has some sparkle and life.
