This old, painted metal airplane was made by Marx and was issued with a couple of decal variations. This four prop version has the Pan American World Airways - Super 7 Clipper PAA decals. On the blue wings are the PAA and N233PA decals. It is made of heavy gauge pressed steel with open cut windows, plastic propellers and hard rubber wheels. The tab on the bottom was meant to slide so the wing could be removed but it is very tight and I will be shipping it assembled as shown rather than disassembling it. I believe this version is from the 1950’s.
It measures about 13” nose to tail with a 17 ½” wingspan and in good original condition with light play wear. The blue and white paint have good gloss with some chip and scuff wear. All of the propellers have their props, none are broken but they have slightly rough edges and the three wheels are intact. There is some decal loss, primarily on the two Pan American World Airways body decals.
