This small scale hammer is too crudely made to have ever been considered anything other than a child’s toy tool. The head of the hammer is poorly cast steel that is attached to a wood handle. It looks like there are three small nails driven into the end of the wood to secure the head. The handle is shaped slightly but not well done and finished with a maroon stain.
It measures about 8 7/8” long and the head measures about 3” from the hammer face to the back of the claw and almost 5/8” thick across the top. It is in nice condition for what it is and appears to be original and without damage.
