This vintage sprinkler head screws to the spout of a garden watering can. It appears to be made of painted tin with a slight domed, perforated brass cap that screws off. It has not been polished so it has its nice, aged patina. The back portion is painted gold which may or may not be original but it appears to have age. The opening that goes onto a watering can is threaded.
It measures about 4” across the face and the opening on the back measures about 7/8” inside diameter. It is in nice condition but does show wear. It has some small dents from use and some scratch and rub wear to the painted surface. There are splits to the metal, both the head and the collar that screws on to a can.
