Old Match Holder Ashtray - Humorous Black Memorabilia
This funny black figurine is a vintage ashtray, match holder and match strike from the 1950's. The man is seated with the spaced between his bowed legs being an ashtray. His head is back and his mouth is wide open to hold the stick matches. On his back is an unglazed, ribbed patch to strike the matches on. On the bottom it is marked; Made in Japan in ink as well as being incised.
It measures about 3 5/8” high, 3 ½” across the arms and 3 7/8” front to back. It is in very nice condition with minimal wear, no chips or other damage.
The pictures are not shown at actual size. Please refer to the description for actual measurements.
