Old, Guards Cold Tablets, Aspirin Tin
This vintage tin was distributed by the Whitehall Pharmacal Co. of New York and once contained 12 - Guards Cold Tablets. Its main ingredient was aspirin and they were good for everything from headache to stomach acidity. The blue and white lid on this empty tin is hinged. The patent on the back would date it to about 1944.
It measures about 1 13/16" by 1 3/8 " is in good condition with nice gloss and very minimal wear.
