Old Sample, Soap Box - La France
This small box is a vintage sample of La France which was a bluing additive to be used with laundry soap. It is marked; Free Trial Size - Not to be Sold on both the top and bottom and was probably sent to housewives by mail in the 1930's or 40's. It has simple blue and cream graphics and was a product from the La France Division of General Foods Corp. of New Jersey.
The full, unopened box measures about 2 1/4" by 3 1/4" by 7/8" deep and is in good condition with minimal wear.
