Old Pool Balls - 7, Bakelite- Wide Band Striped, Numbered
These seven, vintage billiard balls are considered Bakelite and resemble the Aramith, phenolic resin balls. They have a creamy yellow, large circle with a black number in the center on opposing sides and a wide, colored band diving the halves. This is obviously from more than one set since there are two number 14 balls. The color/number combinations included are;
#9 - Yellow #10 - Bluish green #11 - Red #12 - Purple #14 - Dark Blue Green #14 - Light Green #15 - Deep Red/Maroon
These are fun to use, even grouped with other balls as shown in the last picture, as decorator or accent pieces. Some people are also making creative jewelry out of them or teaching young children their colors.
They measure about 2 ¼” in diameter and are in very nice but used condition with some scuff and nick wear. I have shown a close-up example of the worst ball.
Priced and sold as the group of seven (7).
The pictures are not shown at actual size. Please refer to the description for actual measurements.
