abp Circa 1895 Rococo sterling silver and American brilliant cut glass inkwell and tray,
- Fuch and Biederhase, NYC - Fluer de lis mark,
- “Sterling / 1200”,
- hand-chased repousse silver work in florals,
- stippled ground,
- scrolls on fitted drip-tray,
Glass inkwell - 4.75” tall, glass- 3 3/8” dia.
Drip tray - 5.25” dia, .75” tall.
Weight – 2.25 lb.
Florescence – bright lime-green
- including two circa 19th century NIB PENS-
1- “Sterling . A”, repousse scroll and quill motif.
6.75” long, .25” dia.
2- “LWF & Co”, gold filled and mother of pearl, engraved decoration, removable nib.
6” long, .25” dia.
Condition – overall excellent, sterling- nominal usage marks, cut class- two small shoulder nicks (photo 12). br3
- Fuch and Biederhase, NYC (1891-1896). Absorbed in Alvin Manu Co in 1896.
