It stands 3 1/8 inches tall to the top of the silver-tone lid and 4 inches to the top of the ring. The base with the lid off stands 3 1/4 inches tall and the opening is 2 1/8 inches in diameter. It is marked Royal Worcester - Porcelain - MADE IN ENGLAND on the bottom.
