Leather Rugby Football

This is a replica of the original style rugby football. We purchase these footballs from long time dealer friends from Hastings, UK at one of the markets in Newark.

The football measures 11 inches long and 23 1/4 inches in circumference at its widest point. These are regulation sizes for professional football.. Leather balls are no longer used in professional rugby because the original leather balls were subject to water-logging. They were replaced in 1980.

The ball is made of leather, and has the valve which you can used to pump it up if needed. The ball has laces and stitching. Beneath the stitching is the word England Match Ball. These words were printed on the ball as a form of decoration.

The ball is beautiful and looks great in an office, bookcase, or sports den.
