C. 1880 English Paste Pot for School
A very early school paste pot from a English primary school. This paste pot was saved from one family student to the other and began their journey in the 1880’s . Bought at a village fair from the last living family member used this in his primary school. Measurement: 4 inches from the tip-of the wooden handle to the base of the glass jar and 2 1/2 inches in diameter. The wooden disk with the brush is 1 1/4 inches across.
This is a charming paste that has been cared for and an important part of early English school Items. No Chips or cracks.
