English Staffordshire Figurine Thatched Cottage
A wonderful English Staffordshire figure of a thatched cottage with one chimney and steps leading to the door. This figurine would have been used as a potpourri burner. These were often used in the English Victorian Era. Measurements: 5 inches high, 4 1/4 wide and 4 inches deep.
The opening in the back this Cottage figurine and there is some light evidence that this has been used in the past. Condition is very good with only a light loss of the decor around the roof. This would have been lost during the final firing as the final glaze is where the missing section of garland would have been. There is light normal crazing seen on the Staffordshire figurine. A lovely item to add to a collection or decor.
