Turned Oak Fruit Bowl with White Ironstone Liner, Engraved Silver Plate , Nickel Silver Rim C. 1900-1920
This is a beautiful turned oak fruit bowl sitting on three nickel silver ball feet. The wood sides of the bowl is rimmed with a nickel silver band and handle. The handle has an oval plated area which has been engraved featuring a large bird. There are two silver plated cross bands with scenes from nature.
The bowl measures 9 1/4 inches in diameter at the top, 5 1/2 inches tall and 10 1/2 inches tall with the handle raised.
The white iron bowl is in very good with no cracks or chips. The overall condition of the oak bowl and liner are each in very good condition. The bowl could be used for fruit, or as a decorative item.
