English Vintage Oak Biscuit Barrel with Porcelain Liner
The English oak barrel with a porcelain liner was used to keep biscuits (cookies) fresh. Americans tend to use this as an ice bucket. This vintage oak barrel is in very good condition. A solid cookie jar, the oak barrel is surrounded with 4 nickel-silver plated barrel rings and a lid with a knob. The barrel measures 5 inches in diameter at the base and the lid. With the handle up, it is 9 1/2 inches tall.
