1870-1880 Child's English Tea Ware, 2 Cups & 2 Plates
A lovely foursome of children’s china. There are two tea cups with the brown and white transfer and added color after the final glaze. Each cup measures 2 “high and are both in good order with no chips or cracks. The two tea cake plates are 5 1/4 inches in diameter and also done in the brown transfer and added color and a copper glaze applied after the final glaze.
Maker: Allerton & Sons, Staffordshire England 1870-1880. The name of this pattern is ‘May with Pets.' There is one potters crack at the base of one of the handles. This four piece set would be a wonderful gift and used for tiny tea parties.
