A wonderful English Parin relief-moulding Pitcher/Jug. This pitcher has a British metal flip lid marked James Dixon & Sons, Sheffield. This jug has a ‘canteen’ shape. Measurements: 7 1/4 inches high and at its widest point 2 1/2 inches wide. This jug was probably used for wine.
Condition is very good with only one small repair to the handle near the base. The registration marks on the underside are Marker: Brownfield & Sons. January 29,1850, name of design: Yeddo.
