1893 Chicago Worlds Fair Match Striker
A very unusual American ( bought in England) souvenir made for the 1893 Worlds Fair in Chicago match stinker. On one side there is a lovely Chase design. The opposite side has the design of the Horticultural Building on the flip lid whereas on the major part of the body the dates of 1492-1893, the Administration Building with the word Worlds Fair.
This Vesta would made from a metal to suggest that this is sterling silver. The flip lid is in very good condition and other than some user marks and light pitting to the silver type of metal this is in very nice condition. Measurements: 2 7/8 inches long 1/4 inches wide and 1 1/2 long.
