English Lithograph Antique Biscuit Tin 1903-1908

This is a wonderful specialty tin described as a CWS ‘Bag’ which has a patented catch, 1903-1908. This is a lithographed printed tin and when opening the lid there is the following information printed that reads: ‘The English & Scottish Co-operative Wholesale Societies. Their packet Teas, Coffees, and Cocoas are the Best and Cheapest you can buy. They are only obtainable a the Cooperative Stores.‘ This statement is printed on the inside of each of the lid covers. Measurements: 4 1/2 inches high, 6 1/4 inches long and 3 3 1/2 inches wide. Condition is fair as there are scratches on this 100+ year old lithograph 'Bag' on the outside and the oxidation is evident on the inside of this collectable tin. The clasp/catch and handles are all in very nice condition. This antique Biscuit Tin has been around a long long time and could be a very nice addition to a collection.
