Mixed Lot of Children's Ware 1880's
This is a mixed lot of children’s English transfer ware. There are three cups and one tea plate. The brown and white transfer tea plate and cup were done in the ‘Athens’ pattern, 1840. The tea plate is 5 1/2 inches in diameter, the tea cup 2 3/4 in diameter. Each piece is in very good condition with no chip or cracks. Maker: J.M.& Sons, England.
A second single brown and white transfer ware tea cup is 2 inches high and is 2 1/2 inches in diameter. The pattern name is ‘Punch and Judy’ 1880s by Allerton and Son’s, Staffordshire England. Condition: very good, no chips or cracks.
The third cup was done in a red color transfer, and the pattern is often referred to as 'The girl sitting on a step with pets,’ 1880 by Allerton, Staffordshire, England. Condition: Very Good with no chips or cracks.
