Private Correspondence of William Cowper, 1824
A very interesting collection of letters written by William Cowper to his friends and associates in the late 18th century. Cowper was an English poet and hymnodist, and was one of the most popular poets of his time.
Complete in two volumes, which were published in London by Henry Colburn in 1824.
The books are covered in 1/4 green leather and leather at the corners of the covers, and marbleized boards. The leather is decorated with gilt on the covers and spines. The books show some wear on the edges of the covers and the at the extremities of the spines.
The text blocks are complete, and the bindings are intact and strong. Pages are clean and without marks or tears.
