Circa 1891-1907. Fine large oval Flow Blue platter by the well known English firm Dunn Bennett & Co. Marked on the reverse "Copenhagen Pattern" this lovely blue and white serving dish is very similar in design to a Meissen "Blue Onion" pattern. The rim is scalloped and flares gently upward. The white porcelain blank has a fine raised decoration on the two long ends. The platter is in good used antique condition with very light staining and minor crazing, which looks worse in the photos than in person. The dish also has the remnants of what was probably an original gold leaf border around the rim. No cracks, chips or repairs, fully marked. 16 5/8" wide x 11 7/8"deep. Price $250.
