Circa 1885. Rare, three piece set of antique, English, Bristol Glass vases. It is not often we find glass mantel garnitures with all three pieces surviving in such good condition. The left and right vases are in fine original condition and the slightly larger center vase has one small ( 1/8") chip which could be easily touched up. The hand-painted decoration is of large, colorful flowers ( pansies?) in reds and purples with lots of raised gold decoration and green leaves on a white back round. The wide base is a deep green as is the top and slightly flared rim. Marked on the base as pictured, with what looks like a stylized initial. Fine original condition on both side vases and only the small flaw on the rim of the center vase. Fresh from a local Brooklyn, New York estate. The side vases are 12 1/2" tall x 6" widest x 4 5/8" base diameter. The center vase is 12 1/2" tall x 7" widest x 5 3/4" base diameter. Price $375 for the three piece set.
