Quite unusual hand-carved-miniature - this one is a bear with as fish in his mouth. It is one of a collection of semiprecious stone carvings we recently purchased from a retired professor of gemology. It was his personal collection and each one is the best of the best. This is made of Unakite, said to be "The Ultimate Stone For Living Out The Spirit Of Carpe Diem." The nickname "living in the now."

Medium: The bear is unakite with a spotted jasper fish in his mouth.
Size: 1 1/4 inches tall by 2 1/2 inches long by 1 1/4 inches deep.
Condition: This is an exceptionally beautiful unakite with a deep pink/coral color and green. The fish is spotted jasper, which definitely provides a very nice contrast. I can't see how the fish was put in the bear's mouth. Can't see any trace of glue. It is in Very Good to Excellent Vintage Condition.
