In Chinese art, the elephant is a symbol of wisdom and strength. This Well-Carved Hand-Carved Jade Miniature Elephant is another one of a collection of semiprecious and precious stone carvings we recently purchased from a retired professor of gemology. It was his personal collection and each one is the best of the best. It has its trunk up curved over its head.
Medium: Jade (identified by our gemologist).
Size: Approximately 2 1/4 inches tall; approximately 1 1/4 inches deep; approximately 2 3/4 inches wide..
Color: Deep Green.
Condition: Excellent Vintage Condition.
