"Home Sweet Home" depicts a charming naive scene, with a plethora of interesting people and animals as well as detailed 'extras'. There is a home with a barn behind it; the lady of the house is having a snack or lunch with some lemonade; there is a church in the background; a farmer tilling the ground behind his horse; an older gentleman with a cane walking on the road; and a child playing with a sheep. The flowers in front of the house are also around the windows. There are figures in the windows. Finally in the distance behind the farmer and his horse is an automobile! A lovely country home in the 1930s. A gentler time.
