Chris Buzzini is arguably the most outstanding contemporary glass artist of my time; certainly almost any connoisseur would agree that he, Stankard and the Lundbergs all have extraordinary talent. I've had the privilege of a long distance friendship with Chris for years, although we have never met in person. This is one of several very fanciful and happy early unique creations that Chris sold to me privately. It was not offered on his personal site. He was sad to part with them, but knew I would treasure them and eventually find them appreciative homes when the time came for me to sell them. They represent a very happy time in Chris's early life. I only hope he is finding happiness in his current retirement. He did intimate that he might be getting into some other pursuit, although he would not return to the paperweight art glass creations that I love so much.
