For some reason, Caithness weights generally look better in person than in photographs. This definitely looks better in person. It is an aesthetic ethereal creation of Colin Terris. This was what the artist felt a flower from a sea in outer space would look like. It is an interesting abstract impression. It is an abstract freeform from the side, looking a bit like waves of an ocean with controlled bubbles emerging from the blue base that looks like blue molten lava. The unexpected symmetry can only be seen from above; not from the sides. A wonderful example of why Caithness has worldwide popularity.
