My late husband and I were on vacation in the Bahamas, and saw a Gallery showing of Schoneberg's works, and were enamored with it. We both loved lush and sensual works, and this, along with one other Schoneberg, has been hanging in our bedroom since we purchased it in 1973. We purchased this for more than our listed price, and had it framed with the most expensive non-glare glass that protects the painting. This is a magnificent work, with pastels and watercolors. Because of his popularity, there are many fake Schonebergs around, so be careful if you compare the marketplace. Be warned! My two Schonebergs were purchased directly from the artist during gallery exhibitions.
