This unusual carved tan jade snuff bottle would be a wonderful addition to any snuff bottle or Asian collection. It is of the "pebble" form depicting Ebisu surrounded by fish. Ebisu is the Japanese god of fishermen and luck. He is one of the Seven Gods of Fortune and the only one of the seven to originate purely from Japan without any Hindu or Chinese influence. It has its matching stopper (drilled for toggle holes).
Size: 3 3/4" tall.
Condition: Very Good. The top is intact, but when I tried to remove it the cork broke.
