Ms. Nicholson has amassed a large following singing her praises. I believe she deserves them! Her sculptures have been exhibited at the National Gallery of Art in Washington, D. C. as well as The Chasen Museum of Art, and the Madison Museum of Contemporary Art. She is a sculptor who has been lauded with statements such as 'Nicholson's poetic touch does not attempt to be anti-modern or antiquarian, but rather timeless and without agenda.' And 'There is a sense of the transformational in these pieces, a quality that touches upon the shamanistic.....' And 'her knowledge of the objects and works of art of the past serves a silent discipline as she seeks 'the nugget of the idea of the work,' while at the same time eliminating elements that although attractive, are unnecessary.' Her work is being collected by more and more very discriminating collectors.
