This is a very large piece; framed it is huge. It is a Soft Pastel on Gesso and Pumice Coated Paper titled "Degas: Withdrawn from Passion." It is the work of Rick Yasko, who is an up-and-coming contemporary artist getting quite a bit of notice lately. As many of you know, I buy what I like, regardless of whether it might have potential of appreciation. However, being able to buy artwork at low cost before major appreciation occurs sometimes makes the difference between being able to acquire that special work or not, due to increased price. (More about the artist at the bottom of the listing.)
Country of Origin: United States.
Size: 25 inches by 36 inches. Framed 32 3/4 inches by 44 inches. We would prefer to have a buyer pick this piece up, since shipping will be quite expensive.
