This unusual bisque candy container is in the form of a hatching chick with half of the shell still 'holding on.' This is one of a number of vintage and antique candy containers that I purchased from the estate of a foremost collector of candy containers, James Roush. This was the only porcelain offered, (and the only one for Easter.) All the rest are papier mache.
Medium: Bisque Porcelain.
Size: Approximately 3 1/2" end of shell to tip of beak.
Condition: Very Good Antique Condition. Expected wear.
Provenance: The Estate of James Roush.
