William Sauts Netamuxwe Bock (Native American b.1939) is well-known as an illustrator of children's books, and as an artist with feeling and intensity. This is a watercolor of geese by a beach. I find it exquisite. This very talented artist feels "Art is not something that I do, it is all that I am."

Size: 32 3/4" by 26 3/4"

Condition: Watercolor in very good condition, frame has minor damage to the corners.

Signed: Bottom left. Signature and "1491." "1491" is the date signature on many of the paintings of this fine artist and master book illustrator. The "1491" signature is a symbol used by Sauts to focus on his New Earth Rising Prophesy. His vision foresees the eminence of pre-1491 Native American Culture rising to a place of universal honor and respect. Sauts exhorts: " May the Lenape People be remembered forever. 1491"
