This particular Hinz and Kunst 'Woman Golf Player' was retired in the early 1990s, according to a good friend of mine in Germany who called the company to inquire. They had one other in an added on skirt that 'lived' a few years longer. Hinz and Kunst nut and bolt men were created by a creative German metal sculptor named Gunter Scholz. His creations are funny and uplifting. This figure is one of the early nut and bolt figures made of steel and copper. Hinz and Kunst now have a new range of products with wires. The male golfer lasted longer than the female golfer, and can still be found in the secondary market. The female golfer is rarely seen in the secondary market.
Country of Origin: Germany.
Size: 7 3/4" tall; Base is approximately 4" diameter.
Medium: Steel and copper.
Marks: Has a Hinz and Kunst Plaque.
Condition: There are a few dents in the golf bag. Still overall Very Good.
