It was exciting to see the signature of Young & Constantin on bottom of this very modernistic piece. This may have been a perfume originally that the previous owner may have lost the stopper. If so, it is perfect as either a vase for a precious small new blossom, or to put a bit of cotton in saturated with an aromatic oil. Some potpourri would also be quite refreshing. The deep coral color is that of a blood orange; those luscious Italian oranges that have red flesh. This is a lovely find by Young and Constantin. Christopher A. Constantin (January 9, 1957 - June 13, 2001) passed away at such a young age. The art glass world lost a very talented artist. Kathy Young has continued to amass a steadily increasing following of collectors.
